PSL 2024 Full Schedule

2024 PSL Schedule: The much-awaited T20 league of Asian content is here with its 9th edition. The Pakistan Super League is set to kick off on 17th Feb 2024 where Lahore Qalandars will take on Islamabad United in the season opener. The PSL is known for its thrilling nail-biting matches and thrilling knocks where powerful hitters from around the world come together along with the Pakistani experienced and young players.

The defending champions Lahore Qalandars will start the proceeding with the aim to defend their title while other teams like Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators. 

The league plans to provide fans with even more exciting matchups to ensure the highest level of entertainment. The thrilling PSL 2024 Final will take place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on March 18, capping the Pakistan Super League, which is being staged in four different cities in Pakistan (Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Karachi).

Pakistan Super League (PSL) History

The Pakistan Cricket Board established the league in the year 2015. The league has existed for eight seasons. The two most successful teams are Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars, who are the only ones to have won the championship twice.

The only team to win in 2023 and successfully defend their championship is the current champion Lahore Qalandars.

Pakistan Super League 2024 Format

Each team will play ten double round-robin matches during the league stage. Where the top two teams in the points standings at the end of the league stage will play a qualifier 1 the victor advances to the final, while the loser gets one more chance to make it there. 

Next, the two teams that placed third and fourth in the league stage will face off in the first elimination round. In their final attempt to advance to the finals, the victor of the eliminator and the loser of the qualifying round will compete in the qualifying round 2. The winner of Qualifiers 1 and 2 will then go to the finals.
