Naseem Shah, the youngest player from Pakistan, had a mixed start to his Test career as he was the youngest player to make a debut during the Australian tour. The youngster couldn’t make an impression in his debut game, though he got the wicket of opener David Warner, it was on a no-ball. He ultimately removed Warner in that innings but was discarded from the following Test. The left-hand spinner, Nasim-ul-Ghani took a five-wicket haul when he was 16 years and 303 days on his debut; Naseem at the start of the Karachi Test was four days younger than him. Back in 1958 in the Georgetown Test match against West Indies, Nasim took 5/116 to become the first youngest bowler to have a 5-wicket haul with his 5/31 on Monday. Mohammad Amir’s record created in 2009 was broken by Naseem. Nasim-ul-Ghani is 78 years old now.
