On Mother’s Day, a special tribute was provided by the legendary batsman, Sachin Tendulkar for his mother in Marathi “Aai,” with a new meaning. “All the other stuff you are still great and irreplaceable,” tweeted Tendulkar on Sunday. “You are AAI for me. Thank you for everything you have been doing for me”. The batting maestro added in the tweet that he also shared with him a photograph of his mother holding him when he was a kid.
Though Mother’s Day is celebrated on various dates around the world, most countries, including India and the USA, remember Moms as a special day to honor their mother on the second Sunday of May.
Tendulkar said “I started my special day by taking blessings from my mother on birthday, which was celebrated last month. Shared an image that she gave me of Ganpati Bappa. Completely invaluable“.
Tendulkar is the only cricketer in the world who scored 100 centuries in international cricket. The batting maestro, who has represented India for 24 years, has scored 15,921 runs in 200 tests and 18,426 in 463 international one-day matches.
As with other cricketers, Tendulkar spends time at home in the past and present in the world as the coronavirus is destroying the world.
Recently, 5,000 people were fed in India by the former cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar. He had also contributed to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Rs 25 lakh each to fight COVID-19.
