Know What Kohli’s Early Warning To New Zealand Is

India achieved success by winning an ODI series against Australia. This has increased their confidence and, therefore, are sure of performing well on their overseas tours. For the upcoming series, where India will face New Zealand, the skipper of India Virat Kohli issued a warning to the Black Caps, their next target. Kohli stated that his strong team will try to put lots of pressure on New Zealand.

In New Zealand, India will play five T20s, three ODIs, and two Tests. In ODIs, India had beaten the hosts 4-1 before they lost the T20 series 1-2.

“A large amount of confidence we can feel now in our game from last year as we had performed in New Zealand. About playing away, there is one thing that if you are successful in creating pressure on the home team, then it is easy for you to enjoy your game.” Kohli said in Bengaluru after his side’s successful series against Aussies.

“So if you keep up your A-game in those conditions, you can create pressure on them. We are looking forward to getting the same intensity into the series,” he added.

Kohli On New Zealand Series

On Monday night, the team will leave for New Zealand. There are some specific issues on which the skipper emphasized that his team needed to concentrate on when in New Zealand. By focusing on those issues, he said, “If we bat first, we want to bat well again and in case we are defending a low total, we should be able to do that as well.”

Both Kohli and Rohit Sharma scored fine knocks against Australia though they did not bat till the end. But, later on, the responsibility was taken over by Shreyas Iyer who gave a finishing touch by being unbeaten on 44.
