Rahul Successfully Changed His Position:
In all white-ball formats, KL Rahul, the Indian cricket player, successfully changed his position from batsman to a wicket-keeper. Due to a concussion injury, the regular wicket-keeper Rishab Pant has taken a break from wicket keeping. After that, Rahul has shown his outstanding potential and place his place as the keeper-batsman in the national team.
Rahul was an excellent opener for India. In an ongoing India tour of New Zealand, in eight matches with the white-ball, KL Rahul scored 428 runs with a strike-rate of 125.88 and an average runs of 71.33. On this tour, He scored two half-centuries in the T20 International series, one half-century in the ODI series. And, he has also hit one century in the third ODI.
As a wicket-keeper batsman, KL Rahul scored 56 and 57 not out in the first two games of the ongoing series. He has become the first player who scored half-centuries in the history of the T20I series.
In Rajkot, the 2nd ODI match held against Australia, in that match he scored a half-century. That score made him continue as an opener batsman, but he had to play at No 5 position because of the decision of the team management.
At the beginning of January, the ODI match held against Australia in the home country the first time he played a wicket-keeper role. After that, In the T20 series, he took over the role of a wicketkeeper-batsman.
KL Rahul In Best Company:
On the whole, the outstanding form of Rahul has ensured that although Pant has a chance to play at the 6th position in the T20 and ODI series, he continues to warm the bench.
On Twitter, KL Rahul posted two images with the daughter of Jatin Sapru and captioned “in best company”.
While the cricket fans found the images adorable and commenting hilariously about Rahul grabbing another department from Rishabh Pant. Last year, Pant had attracted great interest post his babysitting stint with the kids of Australia Test captain Tim Paine.
