IPL Teams Purse Left for Mini-Auction
All the teams have released a few players before the min IPL Auction
Money left with IPL Teams: Although the T20 World Cup may be concluded, the T20 season will continue. The ten franchises have been preparing for the mini-auction that will take place next month by plotting and strategizing.
All teams must submit a list of the players they have kept before the auction. Take a look at how much money each of them has left in their pockets. The deadline for all franchises to complete their deals and reveal their final list of retained players is November 15.
The majority of teams are expected to cut just a few players, and that too to fill the gaps they believe will help them improve on last season’s trophy chances. Each team was given a slight increase of INR 5 crore before to the auction. The mini-auction will be held in Kochi on 16th December.

New Players, New Strategies
Mumbai Indians
5-time winners Up to 13 players, including Kieron Pollard and Tymal Mills, were released by the Mumbai Indians.
Punjab Kings
As per usual, Punjab Kings will enter the mini-auction leading up to the 2023 season with one of the largest budgets. The former finalists will have Rs 32.20 crore available. On deadline day, November 15, all 10 teams released a list of the players they had kept and released, providing a clear indication of what to anticipate from the mini-auction. After deciding to give Shikhar Dhawan the captaincy, Punjab Kings released Mayank Agarwal.
Lucknow Super Giants
The Lucknow Super Giants, on the other side, raised some questions by letting players like Jason Holder and Dusmantha Chameera.
Sunrises Hyderabad
With a purse of over Rs 40 crore, SunRisers Hyderabad, who released their skipper Kane Williamson and star player Nicholas Pooran, would have the most money available for the auction in an effort to make up for some dubious purchases they made during the super auction.
Kolkata Knight Riders
The lowest bidder, Kolkata Knight Riders, will enter the auction with a budget of Rs 7.05 crore. In the trading window, KKR was active, signing Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz from Kolkata Knight Riders as well as Shardul Thakur and Rahmanullah Gurbaz from Delhi Capitals. They have just enough money remaining to fill 11 spots. Including 3 slots for foreigners, at the mini-auction, but not quite enough.
Chennai Super Kings
In addition to releasing one of their most important match-winners, Dwayne Bravo, Chennai Super Kings also parted ways with one of their mainstays.
The other teams have also taken care of their business and now they released the player’s list is out and we know who all be going under the hammer in the upcoming mini IPL auction on December 16th.
