You Need To Monitor Batsmen Progress- Nick Webb:
After another heated revival, during DY Patil’s tournament, the fiery all-rounder turned to cricket and showed sparkle form by scoring 158 not out off 55 deliveries against Reliance 1 BPCL, that came days after a 105 runs off 39 balls.
The progress of the all-rounder was enough to guarantee selectors’ fitness and it was drawn up in India’s ODI squad last February against South Africa, but the series was stopped because of the pandemic after the initial game washed out in Dharamsala. Webb has ensured that Pandya’s fitness graph has seen an upward graph since then and that thing looks favorable to India’s No. 1 all-rounder.
Webb added “You must also track their progress and search for any difficulties present. He looked in good shape and worked hard from when I saw him in Dharamsala the other month. Hardik is an important player for us and we support him in all ways”.
