The BCCI Has Been Forced To Postpone The Season Indefinitely:
England all-rounder Sam Curran was the new Chennai Super Kings recruit ahead of this season’s IPL auctions. But the BCCI was forced to delay the season indefinitely owing to the coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, Curran says he was looking forward to playing in the season under MS Dhoni‘s captaincy.
“I’m gutted to see what’s happening right now. We’d all have been together in Chennai at the moment, but there is a lot of important stuff going on. I’m very excited to play alongside the captain, MS Dhoni. That’s going to be like a fantastic experience for me, “Sam Curran told Chennai Super Kings during an Instagram Live.
It Was Difficult To Cross Dhoni In The CSK Team- Sam Curran:
“In Stephen Fleming, they have found a great coach. And there is a large number of Indian superstars there as well. Just to be able to pick their brains and actually I have heard that from Sam Billings. He was there for the last two-three years,” he further added.
Sam Curran said, “In Chennai Super Kings team not possible to pass the greatest player Mahendra Singh Dhoni”.
“There are a lot of incredibly talented players, but I think moving past MS Dhoni is difficult. Dhoni is an international cricket legend. He has achieved so much in this tournament. I’m just hoping that the IPL will go ahead and I will be able to pick up his brains and play with him. I have heard he is a fantastic captain. I’m just excited to be part of the chain, “said Curran.
“I was welcomed into the WhatsApp (CSK) group. That has been a good day. Everybody said welcome and stuff like that were very special. There were plenty of details about the virus and all that stuff, “said the young all-rounder.
