Team India Members Comes Up With Birthday Wish For KL Rahul:
Saturday is the 28th day of KL Rahul’s birthday, and his “brotherman” Hardik Pandya welcomed me with a special wish. As the clock struck 12, wishes started pouring in for one of the stylist batsmen in India from all corners. The Indian allrounder took Instagram and said he wishes to share a photo with KL Rahul.
Hardik Pandya subtitled the Instagram message “Happy birthday brotherman. Always got your back.” The Indian batsman was also wished to KL Rahul on his birthday by Mayank Agarwal, Statemate of KL Rahul. “Many happy returns of the day Dost @rahulkl May this year bring you more happiness, health, and success. Can’t wait to have a little crazy and fun,” said Mayank Agarwal.
“Happy birthday @klrahul11 bro, have a great one,” Shikhar Dhawan tweeted.
Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was at his cheekiest best as he drew inspiration from the current nationwide lockdown situation to frame his birthday wish former KXIP teammate. Ashwin wished ‘best of quarantine days’ for Ashwin.
“36 Tests, 32 ODIs, 42 T20Is. 4,706 international runs. First India player to score a century on ODI debut. Third Indian to score a century in all three formats of the game. Happy birthday, KL Rahul,” ICC wrote on Twitter.
Throughout the ODI and T20 International matches in the New Zealand tour, KL Rahul was India’s top scorer.
KL Rahul played 221, with 204 international matches accumulated in the one-day internationals, in the Twenty20 international five-match series.
The right-hand batsman made his test debut in 2014, but he needed two more years to move to the limited-overs squad.
KL Rahul became the first Indian batsman who scores a century in his first 50-over match in Zimbabwe during an ODI match against Zimbabwe.
KL Rahul is also one of the three Indian batsmen in all three game forms who scored one century.
The two Indians who have accomplished this achievement in international cricket, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma.
