PITCH AND CONDITIONS
Trinidad will be hot all day, though there is some cloud cover in the evening. With very little chance of rain and very little wind, it is set for an excellent evening.
The Queen’s Park Oval produced some generally even contests earlier in the tournament, though if it favored anyone it would have been the batsmen thanks to its good, consistent bounce.
Trinbago Knight Riders
- With Mohammad Hasnain returning to Pakistan for international duty, Chris Jordan has been signed up and could make his first appearance in this game. Anderson Phillip could be the man to make way for the England all-rounder.
- Trinbago Knight Riders won their first four matches at the Caribbean Premier League, but the defending champions have not won since. Two defeats, either side of a no result, have halted their momentum a little.
- They lost to St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in a super over, despite posting 216/4 from their 20 overs, and then after only 12.2 overs were possible against St Lucia Zouks were bowled out for 129 by Barbados Tridents last time out.
- That 63-run defeat has seen them drop to third in the table ahead of this match.

- Qais Ahmad who was seen getting advice from team-mate Imran Tahir and opposition leggie Fawad Ahmad as the players chatted on the pitch after the last game has missed the last two matches. He could replace Odean Smith, however.
- A dominant victory against St Lucia Zouks last time out means the Warriors have now won seven matches out of seven at this year’s Caribbean Premier League.
- The Zouks posted 161/7 but Brandon King led the reply with a superb 81*.
- The Warriors won by eight wickets. It followed similar convincing wins against Jamaica Tallawahs and Barbados Tridents too King hitting half-centuries in those victories as well.
