The Capitan of England, Eoin Morgan made an outstanding Century in just 57 balls and was recorded as the fourth fastest century in the ICC World Cup. He reached half-century in 36 deliveries and just took 21 more balls to reach his 13th ODI Century.

Morgan came to bat in 30th over against Afganistan after Jonny Bairstow got out. Morgan along with Joe Root made 189 runs in 101 balls in which Morgan score was high. He made 17 sixes in 71 balls and 148 runs. He broke the records of Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers who made 16 sixes in an inning.

Morgan has taken over as England Captain after the Alastair Cook before the 2015 world cup. With his Captaincy, England was made to stand top in this ICC World Cup 2019.

Moreover, there was a doubt for Morgans presence in the match against Afghanistan due to his injury. But he was declared to be fit and made an unbeatable score for England.
