England vs West Indies Live Score, 1st Test, Day 1:

In Southampton, at the Ageas Bowl, the toss for the West Indies vs England first Test match has been delayed because of little rain. We have to wait a little bit longer for the cricket resumption after four months.

From the past few weeks, the big headline that has been discussed everywhere- Joe Root is not playing in the first Test match. On his replacement, Ben Stokes will take the command of captaincy. It will be very much interesting to see how Ben Stokes leads his squads into the match. All are focusing on his captaincy.  With the absence of Root, the batting order of the England team is not looking that much bright. Also, England is lagging their 12th man, Barmy Army.

The team of West Indies has a real opportunity to give their best here. While Southampton field is very much famous for having track suitable for spinners, with no cricket in a long time, the track might be really hard and help bowlers also. Although for seamers it will be difficult, getting an adjustment to no saliva rule which sounds odd.
