England Tour Of India 2021: All You Need To Know About The Fixtures And Venues

England are all set to play four Tests, five T20Is and three ODIs against India starting from February 2021. England’s three-format tour of India will be played on three different venues: Chennai, Ahmedabad and Pune. The series will start with a Test on February 5th and end with the Third ODI on March 28.

England Tour of India: Detailed Info About Venues

Cricket is finally returning to India after a long break of 1 year amid the Coronavirus outbreak. Chennai will host the first two Tests games on February 5 and February 13 respectively.

England’s tour of India will include a day-test Test at world’s biggest cricketing stadium in Ahmedabad. The new Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad, which has a capacity of hosting 110,000 audiences, will be the venue for the last two Tests games which will be played on February 24 (day-night) and March 8.

The Sardar Patel will also host all the five T20Is games between India and England. The three ODIs will be played in Pune starting from March 23. The England team will land in India on January 27 from Colombo, after concluding their tour of Sri Lanka.

Saturday 13-17 February: 2nd Test – India v England, MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai

Wednesday 24-28 February: 3rd Test – India v England, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Thursday 4-8 March: 4th Test – India v England, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Friday 12 March: 1st T20I – India v England, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Sunday 14 March: 2nd T20I – India v England, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Tuesday 16 March: 3rd T20I – India v England, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Thursday 18 March: 4th T20I – India v England, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad
