ECB To Make Quarantine A Complete Stress Buster Affair

ECB Planning To Create Extravagant COVID-19 Quarantine: It Is Expected That Australian Players Will Be Hosting In A Great Way:

If it is to be believed that reports do the rounds, the England Cricket Board is making every effort to ensure that the Australian cricketers enjoy their two-week isolation in England to the fullest.

It is worth noting that Australia was originally scheduled to tour England in July of this year for three ODIs and as many T20Is. The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak has, however, delayed the tour much like many other cricket tournaments.

While accurate fixtures have not yet been confirmed, the ECB has shown a keen interest in hosting both Pakistan and Australia to give their summer some rest. As a result, Australia is likely to play six white-ball matches in september in England.

Australia will likely be based either in Southampton or Manchester during their period of isolation, according to a leading sports website.

For both Ageas Bowl and Old Trafford promoting on-site hotels, at the same time living in a bio-secure bubble and train would be convenient for the visitors. It is for the same reason that West Indies will be playing at these venues in their upcoming three-match Test series.

Talking more about Australia’s COVID-19 bubble, it is said that the ECB has considered setting up simulators for Golf and F1 along with extra-large gaming screens to ensure that their arch-rivals remain entertained throughout their stay.

Like West Indies and Pakistan, Australia would also need to visit England well in advance in an attempt to adhere to the prevailing rule of the United Kingdom government regarding people from other countries.

The last time Australia visited England under the captaincy of the then newly elected Tim Paine for bilateral limited-overs contests was in 2018.
