The CPL 2019 has been going on full flow, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have knocked out Jamaica Tallawahs at Warner Park, Basseterre – Where they have chased a whopping score of 242 runs. Evin Lewis has been awarded as Man of the Match for his blistering knock.

Jamaica Tallawahs openers Chris Gayle and Glenn Phillips has made a good start in the first innings but has put on their partnership till three overs. Glenn Phillips has left the crease at a very early stage with just 8 runs in his bag.

After the top order being knocked out by the Joseph, Chadwick Walton joined with the Universal Boss-Chris Gayle and showcased a crazy batting carnival. Walton came out with a fab score of 73 runs in 36 deliveries and he had the highest strike rate in the team.

After Walton’s dismissal, none of the batsmen were able to score runs even Andre Russell left the field with just 15runs. It was Chris Gayle who has been on the field for the entire first innings and has made a century.

Devon Thomas and Evin Lewis have started the 2nd innings with a bang, where Evin Lewis has portrayed the highest strike rate with his bat and has put forward an awful performance with 53 runs in just 18 deliveries.

After a few crucial knocks from Lewis, he was caught by Philips. Then Laurie Evans has joined Thomas in the 5th over and started their chase of 153 runs in 14 overs. Crucial knocks from the top order batsman and Thomas’s half-century had led the team in a good way.

After a subsequent fall of three wickets of St Kitts, they looked little low and were in a need of 65 runs in 36 balls. Shamarh Brooks and Fabian Allen made a stand in the final overs and led the team to the winning end with a final score of 242 for 6.

Andre Russell was the one who picked two crucial batsmen of St Kitts – Lewis, and Brooks – who played an important role in the play. In spite of Oshane Thomas fab bowling showcase, Jamaica Tallawahs has failed to stop the St Kitts batsman and Kitts has snatched an absolute stunner of a game.
