Delhi Capitals Predicted Playing XI 2022

1. David Warner:

He was supposed to be one of the hottest buys for this season and everyone expected that he would go for more than 10 Cr but the DC side was successful in getting him for just 6.25 Cr. He is one of the best and promising T20 openers – DC would be eager to start the season with his tremendous batting display.

2. Prithvi Shaw

Shaw has always given the rocket start for the DC’s batting innings – Last season he was batting with the experienced Shikhar Dhawan and had a few tremendous partnerships. This season he will be seen in action with the Australian David Warner and everyone is excited about the new DC’s DUO.

3. Mitchell Marsh

Mitchell Marsh might get a chance to bat at the 3rd position because he is at his best when he bats at No.3 – Many of us as seen how dangerous he can be at the position. He was bought for a price tag of Rs. 6.5 crores. And we are expecting him to be in the starting 11.

4. Rishabh Pant (C and WK)

The young wicket-keeping batsmen Rishabh Pant was seen in a new different avatar last season. He was handed over the Captaincy duties and it is quite surprising that he has done pretty well for Delhi’s side. He has a good batting number in IPL and we can expect him to continue the same form this season.

5. Lalit Yadav

Lalit Yadav was the most underrated all-rounder before he started his cricketing career with DC. But right after his debut for the side – everyone has got to know the true potential of this young lad. He is one of the key members for the side and surely he will be in the starting 11 for DC.

6. Rovman Powell

Delhi franchise was successful in grabbing the power full Rovman Powell for Rs 2.8 Cr. He has never played an IPL game so far but we are expecting him to make it in the starting 11 for DC.

7. Axar Patel

He is one of the primary powerhouses for the Capitals side – Every year he is getting better and better with his performance. He has picked 15 wickets last season and has an excellent economy rate of 6.65. And definitely, he will be in the starting 11 for DC.

8. Kuldeep Yadav

The left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav is the new addition to Delhi’s side. He has a pretty good IPL experience and we are expecting that he would be in the starting 11.

9. Shardul Thakur

He was bought for a whopping price of Rs 10.75 Cr and currently, he is the costliest buy for the side in the auctions. He was an integral part of the CSK’s setup and we are expecting that he will play with the same intensity for DC setup too. He is a sure player to be present in the starting 11.

10. Anrich Nortje

He is a must pick and he will definitely start for the side in the opening games. Few star batsmen have no answer to his lethal pace attack. He has an excellent economy rate playing for DC and he is one of the highest wicket-takers for the side.

11. Chetan Sakariya

He is that young talent everyone should have an eye on – The left-arm pacer ads the dynamic nature of the Delhi setup. Last year he has picked 14 wickets for RR and he can prove to be a valuable asset for the side.
