IPL 2021 Auction: What Does MS Dhoni Mean To CSK?
MS Dhoni hanged his boot from international cricket in 2020. However, the legendary wicketkeeper continues to captain the Chennai-based IPL franchise. Dhoni fans took a sigh of relief when their gaffer confirmed that he will be captaining CSK for the seasons to come as well.
In IPL 2020, MS Dhoni was questioned whether it was going to be his last season with CSK. To which, the “Thalia” of Chennai replied with: ‘Definitely Not’. These two words were enough for CSK fans to forget their abysmal IPL season as they were overwhelmed with Dhoni’s answer.
MS Dhoni is the face of CSK and everyone related to the team is aware of the fact. The members of the CSK team, who were present in the IPL 2021 mini-auction, showed the world how much Dhoni means to the side. All the CSK board members were wearing a T-shirt with the words “Definitely Not” printed on them in the 2021 auction. Adding to that, they were seen wearing masks with “No.7” printed over it, which MS Dhoni’s jersey number as well.
