Watch: PM Modi Compares India’s Win Against Australia With India’s Fight With COVID-19

PM Narender Modi urged the Indian youth to seek motivation from India’s illustrious win against the Australians in Gabba. Despite the set of drawbacks, team India displayed massive character to clinch the ‘Border Gavaskar’ series decider in Brisbane. PM Modi asked the youngster to face the challenges with the same spirit as shown by Team India.

PM Modi Hails India’s Incredible Achievement In Australia

PM Modi, in a recent virtual conference with Tezpur University, compared India’s latest triump with India’s fight with COVID-19. Modi stressed on the fact that “India’s action-reaction instinct has changed”. PM Modi took his Twitter to congratulate the Indian side after their memorable win in Australia’s fortress, Gabba. The 70-year-old Indian leader applauded team India’s ‘remarkable energy, passion and grit’.

“At the beginning of the pandemic, people were apprehensive about what will happen, but the country showed resilience. We fought Covid with Made in India solutions,” he said talking about India’s home-made vaccines that have the potential to “stop the pandemic”.

“We are entering 75 years of independence (in August). Now, you have to live for a new India, an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). From this year till the 100 years of independence is the golden period for the youth of this country,” he said appreciating the Tezpur University’s innovation center and the water purifying technology developed there.
