Rishabh Pant first statement after Accident: As he continues to rehabilitate from a terrible automobile incident he encountered in late December of last year, star India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant on Monday thanked his fans and well-wishers on Twitter for their kind thoughts. 

Additionally, Pant praised the Board of Control for Cricket in India, its secretary Jay Shah, the government officials, as well as the group of doctors and physiotherapists who were instrumental in assisting him following his injury. 

Pant’s first social media update following the accident, saying “I may not have been able to thank everyone individually. But I must acknowledge these two heroes who helped me during my accident and ensured I got to the hospital safely. Rajat Kumar & Nishu Kumar, Thank you. I’ll be forever grateful and indebted.”

 

Rishabh’s Current Medical Condition 

According to the most current medical reports by the BCCI, Rishabh Pant had an impact of the crash that tore all three of Pant’s knee’s main ligaments. Two of which were just rebuilt, and surgery was done on the third is anticipated in six weeks.

The report also raised concerns about the cricketer’s condition ahead of the ODI World Cup at home in October-November by stating that he might be out of play for six months. Which effectively rules him out of the IPL.

Rishabh Pant went on to tweet again thanking, “I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thank you to the BCCI, JayShah & government authorities for their incredible support.”

“From the bottom of my heart, I also would like to thank all my fans, teammates, doctors and the physios for your kind words and encouragement. Looking forward to seeing you all on the field.”

Let’s Hope for the best possible recovery for the star wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. We are sure that he will be back in no time and regain his usual fitness.
