Marnus Labuschagne News: Australia’s star batsman Marnus Labuschagne has reached 3,000 runs in Test cricket, adding another accomplishment to his bag of achievements. After only 51 innings, he achieved the milestone in a joint-second-fastest time.
Labuschagne accomplished the record when scoring 163 in the first innings of the second Test against the West Indies.
In his 51st innings, Labuschagne scored his 3,000th Test run in just 30 Test matches. Only Australian legend Don Bradman has accomplished the feat more quickly (33 innings).
Labuschagne now shares the accomplishment with West Indies legend Everton Weekes, who also did so in 51 innings.
However, to call him as new Bradman is not right not now, as his career is just started, and what Sir Don Bradman had achieved during his cricketing career is almost none to impossible for any to achieve.
Fastest to reach 3,000 runs in test cricket

Labuschagne claimed the player of the match award in the first test, in which Australia claimed success by 164 urns at the Perth Stadium.
The right-arm batter played a knock of 204 runs during Australia’s first innings in the test and keep the momentum going with a not out 104 in the second innings of the match.
He is the highest run-scorer in the ongoing test series between Australia and West Indies and will reach the 500-run mark soon.
