The content between Kolkata Knight Riders is on and it has kept all the fans on their toes. KKR on winning the toss elected to field first. Rajasthan who were compelled to bat first put a total of 153 for KKR to chase for the win.

KKR is looking comfortable at the end of 10 overs of their innings as they chase a rather simple total. Though their innings pace hasn’t been the best but they are likely to recover from it keeping in mind they don’t lose any wickets. The team’s score after the half innings is 59 for 2.

During the first six overs the openers Finch and Indrajith couldn’t do much as they lost their wicket early on. The team could only 32 runs losing 2 wickets. The powerplay restrictions didn’t assist the batters much.

Prasidh bowled the 6th over of the innings and kept things tight as he only gave away 7 runs and also took the wicket of settled Baba Indrajith. This brought Nitish Rana to the middle who went on to build a partnership with Shreyas Iyer. The 8th over was bowled by Chahal who continued the momentum and conceded just 6 runs from the over,

4 runs came off in the 9th over bowled by Ashwin who did not let batters open their arms and hit boundaries. Kuldeep Sen bowled the 10 over of the innings off which came 10 runs.

Run rate at the end of 10 overs is 5.90 while the required run rate is 9.40. KKR needs 94 runs off 60 balls. Shreyas Iyer 26 (26) and Nitish Rana 8 (11) are at the crease now.
