What’s the alternative
Since India won’t be going to Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup. It’s unclear where the event will actually take place. What was the actual plan?
The 2023 Asia Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy will both be held in Pakistan over the course of the following three years. While India will host the 2023 ODI World Cup. It will be interesting to see how Shah’s remarks according to which. Pakistan and India cannot play each other effect the tournament schedules.
The upcoming Asia Cup in Pakistan was identified by the BCCI as one of the “major/multi-national tournaments” for the Indian men’s team in its AGM agenda item. Raising the prospect of India visiting Pakistan for the first time in almost 15 years. But we have to wait and watch if the ICC events take place according to the plans

Speaking on the Champions Trophy 2025, he said “The venue for the 2025 Championship trophy is still to be decided. We will comment on that when it is decided. We are getting good earnings from our Media rights. Our motive is domestic players should get more benefits as our earnings are increasing.”
India and Pakistan will square off on October 23 in the T20 World Cup after last playing each other in the 2022 Asia Cup in the UAE in August-September of this year. Where Pakistan won the match and eliminated India mentally from the tournament.
