Australia’s winning streak in international cricket in 2022 was broken by them yesterday. Australia has won 12 ODIs, nine T20Is, and one Test so far this year. This is their first loss across all formats. There are a whopping 22 matches in all.
The last time Australia lost a T20I match was against New Zealand in March 2021, ending an 11-match winning streak. Australia’s 26-match winning streak in one-day internationals was stopped by India in September of last year.
