On October 17 and 19, they will face Australia and New Zealand, respectively. India captain Rohit Sharma will use these matches to solve three major issues, including finding a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah in the T20 World Cup. They are also attempting to determine whether Yuzvendra Chahal or R Ashwin is better suited to Australian conditions. They are also considering how to best utilise Deepak Hooda during the World Cup.
The management is looking into the team’s overall performance. Warmup games will be the decider of the Playing 11.
