IND Vs BAN 2022: Who is cricketer Saurabh Kumar?
Saurabh, a left-spinner from Uttar Pradesh, will play two unofficial Test matches against Bangladesh A before the Test series begins. He is a member of the India A team.
Saurabh is yet to play any international game. He had received his first call-up from India for the home Test series against Sri Lanka earlier this year, but because to the presence of first-choice players, he was not given the opportunity. He will have tough competition for a spot in the starting XI.
Saurabh maintained his chances of making a comeback by recording three wickets for the Rest of India’s victory in the Irani Cup.
Two first-class matches between India A and Bangladesh A will start on November 29 and December 6, respectively. In both games, Abhimanyu Easwaran will serve as the visitor’s captain. The Test squad members Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh Yadav, and KS Bharat will play in the second game.

The star all-rounder, who had previously selected for both series, needs additional time to fully recuperate from the injury, hence he will be unavailable for Bangladesh’s tour.
Ravindra Jadeja news Update
Star all-rounder Jadeja, who is still coping with a knee ailment, will be under continued observation by the BCCI Medical Team. A previous knee injury prohibited Jadeja, an experienced all-rounder, from participation in the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
According to a report by Insidesport, one of the committee member informed them that Jadeja needs more time, quote as saying, “No, he will not make it in time for the Test series. We were hoping he could return. But Jadeja needs time. The medical team has advised him to take it easy. He has a history of knee problems and we don’t want to rush his return to gruelling Test-match action yet.”
Earlier, the Board has announced his unavailability for the ODI series, and Shahbaz Ahmed was named his replacement.
The series against Bangladesh will start from December 4 in Dhaka, followed by second ODI at the same venue on December 7. While the final ODI will take place at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on December 10.
After the 3-match ODI series, team India will then play 2 tests, starting December 14.
