GT IPL 2023 Retained Players List: The defending champions are all set to once again make their mark in the new season of the Indian Premier League.
Hardik Pandya, the new captain of IPL, not only did his job superbly with the bat and bowl, but the star all-rounder did an excellent world while leading the side to help GT win an IPL trophy in its first season itself.
He scored the highest runs for his side with, (481 in 16 games) at a strike rate over 131. While Shubman Gill (483 runs in 16 games), and David Miller (481 in 16 games), remained the backbone of GT’s batting line-up.
Nothing to worry for them in the bowling department, with Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami was there, with an added advantage of Lockie Ferguson.
Shami and Khan picked the most number of wickets for GT, with 20 and 19 wickets, respectively. While they have traded Lockie Ferguson to Kolkata Knight Riders.
They now need a fast bowler, and Jaydev Unadkat may be the best choice for them to acquire his services.
