Rishabh Pant’s Injuries: Indian Star cricketer Rishabh Pant was hurt in a car accident on Friday, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a thorough statement regarding his injuries. Around 5:00 AM on Friday, the India wicketkeeper-automobile batsman was involved in a collision with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway.
On Pant’s condition and the specifics of the accident, BCCI issued a media statement. According to BCCI, Pant has two cuts on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, and injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah on Saturday early morning around 1 AM, where they started off by saying “India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant met with a car accident early on Friday morning near Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He was admitted to Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre where he was treated for impact injuries.”
“Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, and toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.”
He concluded by saying “The BCCI is in constant touch with Rishabh’s family while the Medical Team is in close contact with the doctors currently treating Rishabh. The Board will see to it that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and gets all the support he needs to come out of this traumatic phase.”
Reason for the Car Accident
The cricketer was travelling alone in his car from Delhi to his house in Roorkee. He fell asleep at the wheel and lost control of the vehicle, causing a collision on the highway close to Mohammadpur Jat in Manglaur.
Where was Rishabh Pant Admitted after the accident?
After returning from a tour in the UAE, the attacking left-handed batter was travelling to meet his family when the collision occurred. He was the only person in the vehicle at the time.
He was initially transported to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee for emergency care before being transferred to Max Hospital in Dehradun, where he is currently being treated by doctors.
