With some players remaining on the east coast, it provides further opportunity for Nathan Ellis and Daniel Sams. Who both performed well in India as well.
Selectors have drafted in leg spinners Mitchell Swepson for the Perth game, the only player not retained in the World Cup Squad that won the Tournament in the United Arab Emirates last year.
Australia beat the West Indies by three wickets in a warmup match played at the Gold Cost on Wednesday. Captain Aron Finch Top Scoring with 58 at number four in an encouraging return to form.
The Host will again meet West Indies in Brisbane on Friday.
