IND vs SA 1st T20I: Arshdeep Singh showed his class in his comeback game with some unplayable swing deliveries before KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav ensured a comfortable eight-wicket win for India in the first T20I against South Africa at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
The low-scoring game saw Indian opener and Vice-captain KL Rahul hit unbeaten fifty, while Suryakumar once again entertained the fans with his power-packed performance and hit a brilliant fifty to help the home side take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Earlier, Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Chahar broke the visitors back by removing 5 of their top players inside the powerplay that halted the Proteas aim to score big and they only managed to set a target of 107 for full-strength Indian side.
