And Virat Kohli, who already won the ODI World Cup, Champions trophy and U-19 World Cup, completed his cabinet with all major white-ball tournaments trophies and announced his retirement from the shortest format right after the final match.  

Interestingly, Virat Kohli, who is considered as the best batter of modern-day cricket, ended his T20I run with a higher ranking in ICC all-rounder tally over designated all-rounder and his teammate Ravindra Jadeja.  

Virat with 49 points was placed at 79th position in the latest ICC rankings, while Ravindra Jadeja with 45 was at 86th.

Jadeja, who made his India debut in 2009, also followed the same path and took the retirement from the T20 internationals after Word Cup triumph. Jadeja has played 74 games for India in the shortest format and has scored 515 with bat and bagged 54 wickets with the ball.  

Kohli, on the other hand, who is a specialist batsman, struck 4188 runs with the bat, bowled only 152 deliveries in T20Is and took 2 wickets.

There is no denying the fact that Ravindra Jadeja has always played as a complete all-rounder, and has performed well throughout his T20I career, but his prolonged absence from the format contributed to his current low position in the ICC all-rounder rankings.
