Suryakumar to play domestic cricket

Suryakumar to play domestic cricket: India’s newly appointed T20I captain is now ready to play the red-ball format in the domestic circuit with participation in the upcoming Buchi Babu Tournament and Duleep Trophy.  

Surya expressed his desire to play all three-format for India upon his successful return from Sri Lanka, and he insisted the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to include him in the Buchi Babu squad. He also got a place in the Duleep Trophy’s Team C squad.  

With 2 home and an away test series are approaching, Surya eyeing a spot in India’s squad after performing well in the domestic games.  

Suryakumar has played only test in international cricket so far, and only managed to score 8 runs in his solidarity innings. And the right-arm batter will try to change that stat.  

He may get a chance to feature in India’s squad for upcoming home series against Bangladesh and New Zealand after a solid outing in Buchi Babu Tournament and Duleep Trophy.  

Suryakumar will play the captaincy of Sarfaraz Khan in the Buchi Babu Tournament, and he will play under Ruturaj Gaikwad in the Duleep Trophy.

One of the most prestigious domestic events, the Duleep Trophy, will be played among four teams this time instead of the traditional six teams.  

Suryakumar is the absolute match winner in the shortest format of the game, and if he able to the red-ball format structure effectively, it will be a big plus point for team India, who has been looking for a dependable middle-order batter for a long time now.
