Currently, Virat Kohli is on vacation with his family in London and he certainly is unavailable for the Sri Lanka series. Where he will mostly come into the squad for the test matches against Bangladesh. After winning the T20 World Cup Virat Kohli announced his retirement from the shortest format of the game. So with age running behind him he is now completely focused on playing ODI and Test format.

However, BCCI Sectary Jay Shah recently gave out a statement saying Virat and other key players will be rested, while he also assured that Virat will be part of the Champions Trophy in 2025.
