His heroics are not limited to only bat and bowl, as Pandya is an excellent fielder too. Pandya took a stunner to dismiss Bangladesh’s captain Najmul Hossain Shanto in the second T20I after covering a spectacular 25 meters while racing from deep mid-wicket.

Pandya played a huge role in helping India win the T20 World Cup 2024 in June this year. His contribution in all departments was extremely valuable in India’s triumph.
