Barbados Tridents made a victory over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Warner Park, Basseterre. Tridents showed a great bowling performance and gave a tough time to the St Kitts batsman. Being the Winners of the previous match, St Kitts didn’t put their stand this time. All the batsmen of St Kitts were swept out as none of them performed to that standing level.

Johnson Charles has added a half-century to the score-board in the first innings whereas Alex Hales had few bad knocks and has made just 18 runs for 12 deliveries and was dismissed by Emrit. Leiko Boucher has joined Charles and has put out some crucial knocks in the game.

Boucher stayed on the field for quite a long time and gave out his best till the final over. Jean-Paul Duminy who later on partnered with Boucher has batted so well at the finishing point of the inning that he was merely to make a half-ton and made43 runs in just 18 deliveries and left out with high strike in the team.

The bowling of St Kitts was seemed low and they hardly took two wickets in the complete inning. Rayad Emrit who has bowled 4 overs has just come out with a single wicket and even Usama Mir being the leg-spinner has also bowled the same number of over and went with single wicket-taking.

Being the beginner of the St Kitts innings, Devon Thomas was bowled out for just three deliveries could only put a single run to the score. Evin Lewis who has become a batting jewel against Jamaica’s has failed to put over Tridents. Laurie Evans who has joined after Thomas dismissal has played quite good knocks where he has added 64 runs to chase a score of 187.

After Evans dismissal, no one came out with good knocks, even middle order failed to chase a winning score. Despite a great effort put forward by Dominic Drakes at the final overs, St Kitts failed to put their victory on in the match over Tridents.

The captain of Tridents Jason Holder has thrown out both the openers in the second inning whereas Hayden Walsh has sent Fabian Allen with a golden duck.

Sandeep Lamichhane has been awarded as the man of the match for his brilliant hat-trick. The bowlers have made a clean sweep over St Kitts and lead their team to the victory.
