“Can I get it back my money back” Gayle’s funny reaction to Nicholas Pooran

Nicholas Pooran sold to LSG for 16.0 Cr

Chris Gayle’s funny Reaction: During the mini IPL auction on Friday, Nicholas Pooran, a former player for Sunrisers Hyderabad, was sold to Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 16 crore. After a heated negotiation with Delhi Capitals, Lucknow was able to secure the famed West Indies star for a basic price of Rs 2 crore.

Rajasthan Royals joined Chennai Super Kings in the initial bid, which was launched at 2 crores. The Delhi Capitals joined the match and took it deep just as RR grabbed control of it. The fight between the Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals came to an end when the latter decided to withdraw, but LSG then entered the picture and completely altered the situation.

Chris Gayle’s funny Reaction

The opportunity to criticize Nicholas Pooran, a fellow countryman, was not missed by Chris Gayle. Gayle made a funny remark about Pooran’s auction price when the Lucknow Super Giants selected him for Rs. 16 crore. Gayle advised Pooran to pay back the money he borrowed from him in the past since he had received so much money from the IPL auction. Gayle was obviously joking, and he chuckled as he finished the thought.

After that, Gayle made a joke about “Nikki P, the money that I lend you, can I get it back please,” joked Gayle immediately after. Not to forget, Gayle added that the players who got so much money are now private jet players. “These three are private jet category players,”

LSG Advantage after Pooran’s addition to the team

At franchise-based league events since then, he has delivered performances that have changed the game. At the Abu Dhabi T10 League, he excelled and regained his form. Fans will be interested to watch what Pooran contributes to the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants’ hitting unit now that he has joined the team.

Pooran’s last season

Pooran was a significant acquisition for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last season as well, costing INR 10.75 crore. But he fell short of the standards and was fired from the franchise as a result. LSG continued to have faith in him despite a string of subpar performances and hired him for INR 16 crore.

IPL Career so far

Pooran has played 47 games in the IPL and has a strike rate of 151.20 while scoring 912 runs. His current high score is 77 runs.
