The second season of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) has been scheduled for 15th September at Eden Garden, the match will be dedicated to the celebration of 75th year Independence.

The opening game will be played between Indian Maharajas vs World Giants. The match will be played at the Eden Garden on 15th September. Former Indian captain also the current BCCI president will lead the Maharajas side and the former England captain Eoin Morgan will lead the World Giants side.

Players from ten different countries will take part in the league, and 15 matches will be played during the season, where 4 teams will play against each other for the Legends League Cricket Championship.

In a recent statement the CEO Raman Raheja said “No, Sourav Ganguly will not be charging for this match. This game is a special celebration of India’s 75th year of independence. We are working on a few particular topics that the league will assist with. We do not want to call it a charity game”

This statement was released after the speculations rising against Sourav Ganguly regarding his benefits of playing this league, as he also hold a higher positions (BCCI President) in one of the top cricket boards in the world.

There are even several issues raised after the involvement of Pakistani players in the LLC, as the relation between India and Pakistan are not that good, as there are several players participating in the league.

But this LLC is a proud moment for all the Indian fans as we are celebrating it as a part of the 75th Independence Day where all the fans can get to watch the legends play again.
