Trinbago Knight Riders who have won four-game in the Caribbean Premier League were tied in the match with St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, where hosts won a game in the super over.

TKR made a good start with their bat in the first innings with Lendl Simmons massive score of 90 runs in just 45 deliveries, which included nine fours and six sixes. Mark Deyal the opening partner of Simmons was dismissed for 21 off 10 balls. It was Carlos Brathwaite who has dismissed both the batsmen to stop their flow of runs.

Even after Simmons dismissal with the total at 140, Darren Bravo and James Neesham gave out massive runs in the final overs. They have added sixty runs off the last 30 balls, and the Knight Riders ended up scoring 216 for 4.

In the second inning, Evin Lewis smashed 45 runs even though his partner Thomas was dismissed by a single. Mohammad Hafeez who has joined Lewis was also dismissed at a very early stage. Every one shook out after the massive knock out Evin Lewis but Carlos Brathwait and Shamarh Brooks took matters into their own hands and got the team to 155/4 in 15 overs.

Subsequently, the two later were dismissed, but Fabian Allen with Kieron Pollard in the 18th over has hit three sixes adding a total of 32 runs in their partnership. It was when hosts were left with 25 runs required off 12 balls and with Emrit hitting Neesham for 18 runs, the game went into a super over.

Now, the game has turned towards St. Kitts which has brought pressure on TKR and Carlos Brathwaite backed himself against USA’s Ali Khan, bringing up a massive 18 runs off his over.

Now they needed 19 from 6 balls. Brathwaite then walked out to take charge with the ball, despite coach Robin Singh’s suggestion of bowling Alzarri Joseph and stood clear as he defended the score to shut the lid with a huge fixture at the Warner Park in St. Kitts.

TKR has seen there first defeat, which brought up one of the biggest wins of the CPL season so far for the Patriots, against TKR side.
