Even though the former Indian captain Mahindra Singh Dhoni was not in contention of getting selected for the forthcoming West Indies series at home. India’s cricket team is all set to play 3T20s and 3 ODIs. Indian cricket audiences are criticizing the Indian selectors for their picks for the T20 international series.

On Friday, MSK Prasad, the chief selector of the Indian national cricket team, faced criticism from Indian fans after he announced the 15-men Indian line-up for their next home assignment against West Indies.

The return of pacers Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was well received by the fans who followed the official announcement of the Twenty 20 International and ODI squads for the Windies series.

Though Indian fans were satisfied with Shivam Dube’s selection in the squad against West Indies, the selection of Rishabh Pant and omission of Sanju Samson made selectors the target of criticism on social media.

Team India, after playing their first-ever day-night Test against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens, will return to white-ball cricket in December against West Indies.
