Halfway through the Big Bash League 12 (BBL) 2022–23 season, the competition for a spot in the finals (top-five) is getting fiercer. The competition’s first week was a complete blast.
It is absolutely astonishing to see what has occurred since then, though. Whether it was a spectacular catch or a massive smash out of the park, there have been many occasions that have left the cricketing community in admiration.
With a lot of well-known players moving to new wealthy leagues in the UAE and South Africa, teams will appear drastically different. To generate a lot of interest prior to the finals, though, a few of Australia’s Test stars will return before travelling to India for the four-match test series.
BBL12: Team Wise List of Players Arriving and leaving
1. Perth Scorchers

2. Sydney Sixers

7. Brisbane Heat

At this point, Brisbane Heat is on a poor run of form with 5 points from 8 games.
8. Melbourne Stars
- Arriving Players: No Players arriving for Melbourne Stars
- Departing Players: Trent Boult
At this point, Melbourne Stars are not going as they want. Poor performance can be seen in this edition as they have 4 points from 8 games.
How this will Impact Teams?
With the new leagues around the world, players will be leaving for other franchises and this will drastically impact the team’s performance. Even though there are players coming in it is quite difficult for teams to adjust with new players coming in.
