BCCI unhappy with Ravindra Jadeja’s irresponsible approach

India suffered a severe setback during the Asia Cup 2022 campaign when they learned that star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had been forced to withdraw from the competition owing to a knee injury.  Here in this article, we have discussed Ravindra Jadeja’s Knee Injury, BCCI is unhappy with Ravindra Jadeja’s irresponsible approach.

The team’s combination has been thrown off by star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja‘s knee injury, and both experts and fans have questioned how the star player could have gotten hurt so suddenly.

Now we know why. According to a report in the Times of India, Jadeja appeared to have suffered an injury while participating in an adventure activity at the sea in Dubai, and BCCI is not at all happy about it.

“We are not happy with Jadeja’s injury. He should have kept the World Cup in mind while doing adventurous activities. But he was not responsible and did not think that the World Cup is on the way. We are not happy with this action of Jadeja,” a source told ANI.

Jadeja missed Asia Cup 2022 due to a right knee injury after participating in the first two games against Pakistan and Hong Kong.

Jadeja underwent knee surgery on Tuesday, and the all-rounder will shortly begin his recovery. On Tuesday, Jadeja posted on Instagram to declare his surgery was successful.

“The surgery was successful. There are many people to thank for their support and involvement – BCCI, my teammates, support staff, physios, doctors and the fans. I will start my rehab soon and try to get back to soon as I can. Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes,” said Jadeja in a post.

Before getting hurt, Jadeja was having a strong Asia Cup 2022. He scored a match-winning 35 in the opening game against Pakistan and finished with figures of 0/11 in two overs. He did not bat in the following game against Hong Kong, although he eventually took 1/15 with the ball and did excellent fielding as usual.

The all-rounder has performed admirably this year so far.

In 2022, Jadeja has scored 201 runs at an average of 50.25 in eight innings over nine T20Is. His top individual score in the format this year is 46*. He has also claimed five wickets.
