The Elite Group will include 32 teams and be divided into 4 groups of 8 teams, with each team playing 7 games in the league stage. The top two teams from each of the four groups will advance directly to the quarterfinals.

Six teams will compete in the Plate Group, which will have 15 league games. The top four teams will automatically advance to the semifinals, while the bottom two teams will compete for fifth and sixth place. League games for both the Elite Group and Plate Group will begin on December 13 and end on January 29 for the Plate Group and February 20 for the Elite Group, respectively.

The Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, which begins on October 11 and runs through November 5, is the first event on the women’s calendar. Senior Women’s Interzonal T20 and T20 Challenger will come next. The Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy and the inter-zonal One-Day will then switch to the 50-over format.

U-16 event for Girls

This season marks the return of the Senior Women’s Interzonal T20 and one-day competitions. The Board will hold a one-day event for girls in the U-16 age group for the first time. The event will provide the young girls experience playing competitive cricket and ease their transition to the U-19 level.
