Ashes 2019: ECB Announced 4th Test Squad – Anderson Misses OUT

England has made their victory in the third test against Australia by one wicket at Headingley Carnegie. It was by Ben Stokes who came on to the field and changed the complete game strategy with his century, leading England singlehandedly to the winning end.

England will move to Old Trafford Cricket Ground to play their 4th Test on September 4th. Further, ECB has announced their 13-men squad for the 4th test with few changes made into their previous one.

England’s fast bowler James Anderson, who has been ruled out of the Ashes series due to a calf injury thought that he would be fit for the fourth Test at his Old Trafford home ground starting on Wednesday. But after bowling during a second XI match against Durham this week he has been declared unfit for the final two Tests of the series.

Jofra Archer who has taken five wickets in the first Test and had a consistency in the wicket-taking was in the squad. Jason Roy who has been dismissed for a single-digit was seen to make huge scores in the upcoming Tests. Joe Root and Joe Denly are seen to make a half-century in the third test are in a good stand.

Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow are  the one’s who played positively to lead England to a winning end. Ben Stokes has for sure become an Ashes hero of Ian Botham’s league and rightfully so. He surely deserves all the accolades he is receiving and he has given England a chance now to get back into the series.
