Adam Zampa Is Player Of The Tournament For Me: Aaron Finch

The Australian team won the T20 World Cup in 2021, beating New Zealand in the final on November 14, 2021. New Zealand batted first, scoring 172/4 in their given 20 overs, headed by star batsman Kane Williamson’s 48-ball 85, The Australian team, on the other hand, did not struggle much in their chase of the target. The Kangaroos won with 8 wickets and 7 balls remaining.  Furthermore, Australia’s amazing victory has been addressed by Aaron Finch, Australian batsman, David Warner was awarded Player of the Tournament. Finch, on the other hand, says Adam Zampa should have earned the Player of the Tournament title since the leg spinner controlled the game and secured important wickets for the ‘Men in Yellow’ in the competition. Zampa took 13 wickets in the event, finishing as the competition’s second-highest wicket-taker.

Aaron Finch also praised his team, notably Mitchell Marsh, Matthew Wade, and Marcus Stoinis, for advancing at important aspects throughout the competition. “Mitch Marsh, what a way to start, put pressure on from the start. Matthew Wade came in under an injury cloud and got the job done. He came in in the semi-final alongside Marcus Stoinis and did the business,” said Finch.

Finch also stated that lifting the T20 World Cup is a great achievement and that he is happy with the manner the Australians performed in the competition. “This is huge, to be the first Australia team to do it. So proud of how the guys went about the campaign,” said Finch.

Finch also praised David Warner for elevating for the Aussies despite the fact that many doubted the left-handed batter regarding his form. “I can’t believe people wrote him off a couple of weeks ago. It was almost like poking the bear,” concluded Aaron Finch.
