After their first loss of this season against Sunrisers Hyderabad, there was another blow from the IPL. Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer has been fined for slow overrate. Iyer has made only 17 runs out of 21 balls as the side has to taste their first defeat by a margin of 15 runs. IPL governing body stated that - "As it was his team's first offense of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offenses, Mr. Iyer was fined Rs 12 lakh."

Ellyse Perry Ruled Out Of NZ Series

Ellyse Perry has been ruled out of the remainder of the series against New Zealand due to a serious hamstring injury. Meg Lanning (Australia captain) said - "Ellyse had been on track to play some part in this series but unfortunately she had some hamstring awareness, she's got a low-grade strain so she won't be available for the rest of this series. She will continue her rehab and training in the hope of being available at some point in the WBBL (but) she won't be playing any part in this series."

Rahul Tewatia, who knocked five sixes in a single over for Rajasthan Royals in an outstanding IPL match against Kings XI Punjab said that always he believes that he could achieve the record despite struggling to score runs initially in his innings.
