2020 IPL: RCB VS KKR: AB de Villiers’ Half-Century Leads RCB To 194/2

The 28th match of the 13th edition of IPL is going on in Sharjah in which Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is locking its horns with Kolkata Knight Riders. So far, both KKR and RCB enjoyed victory in the weekend matches as they beat Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) respectively.

In this match, Gurkeerat Singh Mann is replaced by Mohammed Siraj. On the other hand, Tom Banton is debuting the match. He replaced Sunil Narine in the line-up.

Let’s come to the 1st innings:

Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opted to bat first. Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal provided a great start to RCB. In the first 5 overs, RCB scored 41 runs for no loss. By the end of 5th over, Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal remained unbeaten on 18 and 22. But at 7.4 over, Russell was able to depart Devdutt Padikkal for 32 off 23 balls.

In 12th over, Aaron Finch moved across to make some runs and Krishna cleaned him up with a beautiful Yorker. Aaron Finch fell just three runs short of his half-century. With the help of 1 six and 4 boundaries, Finch scored 47 runs off 37.

With a six, ABD scored his half-century off 23 deliveries. In 20 overs, AB de Villers and Virat Kohli made unbeaten 73 and 33 runs respectively, and finally, RCB reached 194 runs with the loss of 2 wickets.
