2020 IPL: DC VS RR: Against RR, DC Score 161/7 In 20 Overs

No. 30th match of the 2020 Indian Premier League is carried out in Dubai International Stadium in between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals.

5 days ago, both the team’s DC and RR met in this season, and in that match, DC beat RR because of their allround show by Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, and Shimron Hetmyer. But after that, a lot of things have changed. Delhi Capitals forced to miss Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma because of injury and RR got back to winning ways.   In this match, Rishabh Pant couldn’t clear the fitness test, that’s why Alex Carey included in the Delhi Capitals team.

Delhi Capitals won the toss and chose to bat first. But unfortunately, Jofra Archer dismissed Prithvi Shaw for a golden duck on the 1st delivery of the innings and then got the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane in the next over. What a start from Rajasthan Royals.

Shreyas Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan put together for a fifty runs partnership for Delhi Capitals. In the 11th over, Shreyas Gopal dismissed Shikhar Dhawan by after he made an amazing 57.

After scoring 53, Shreyas Iyer departed at the last delivery of 15th over as Rajasthan Royals put a lid on the boundaries of Delhi Capitals. Fantastic stuff by Rajasthan Royals, Jofra Archer concluded with three wickets by picking wickets of Marcus Stoinis (18). In his 4 overs, he gave 14 dots. Delhi Capitals reached 153 runs with the loss of 5 wickets.

In the 4th delivery of the 19th over, Unadkat was able to dismiss Carey by scoring 14 runs with the help of 1 six. Delhi Capitals could only manage to score 161 runs with the loss of the 7th wicket of Axar Patel (7) in the last ball of the innings.

Today the bowlers of Rajasthan Royals had done a fantastic job. Let’s see what the batsman can do in the 2nd innings.
