In the recent T20 series Poonam Yadav emerged as the joint highest wicket-taker in 10 scalps. In her 67 matches of T20 career, Yadav has 95 wickets to her name, which makes her the sixth-highest wicket-taker in the women cricket fraternity.

Yadav has created a sensation in the Indian Women cricket team, through her remarkable performance in women’s cricket at the domestic, national and international levels. And the selectors of the Indian women cricket team has been eyeing her to give her a breakthrough in bigger tournaments.
