Moin Khan Praises MS Dhoni

Moin Khan who is the former captain of Pakistan believes that MS Dhoni is the player who took the Indian cricket to another level. In an interview with a sports show, he acknowledged former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni for converting the face of Indian cricket.

He said that Dhoni has really turned the direction of it, and continue the winning era what Sourav Ganguly had started. And that is the reason why India is producing so many world-class players with strong abilities and skills.

Khan also feels that in the current generation, India captain Virat Kohli is the only batsman who is intended to break lot more records and become a legend player.

Before the 2015 World Cup, when Moin Khan was the chief selector and manager of the Pakistan team, he was offered the post of the head coach by the former Chairman of the board Najam Sethi.

Past Records Of MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni made his debut against Bangladesh in 2004 under the captaincy of  Sourav Ganguly. He has appeared in 350 ODIs, 98 T20Is and 90 Tests for the country till now, while collecting a total of 829 dismissals behind the stumps.

MS Dhoni holds all the records which a person can expect and a captain of an international team. He is the only international captain who led his team to win an ICC 50-over World Cup, Champions Trophy and T20 World Cup. He helped team India to get the first rank spot in ICC Rankings, both in ODIs and Tests.

Recent Updates Of Dhoni

However, Dhoni has not played for his team since the 2019 World Cup semi-final, in which India lost the match against New Zealand.

But on January 16, he started his training in his hometown Ranchi with the Jharkhand Ranji Trophy team. Dhoni went through the usual training session and spent some time at the nets.
