Matthew Hayden’s expectations from Warner and Smith
Matthew Hayden expects that the return of Steve Smith and David Warner apart from world-class bowling attacks makes Australia’s choice for the home Test series against India later this year.
India made history by winning their maiden Test series in Australia last January, ending a 71-year wait. At that time Smith and Warner were serving a ban for one-year for ball-tampering.
When asked about the sidelines of the series decider, Hayden said that India and Australia are an important part of the game. It is wrong that it is not a five-Test series, it is the exact right number of Test matches to play.
